Donna Lee (Freda) Valle

Donna Lee Valle, nee Freda, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Monday April 15, 2024 at her home. She was born August 6, 1955 in Bloomfield, New Jersey to parents Amerino and Leota Freda.

On February 18, 1989  in Miami, FL, she was united in marriage to Francisco “Frank” Valle.

Donna was a Registered Nurse and was employed at a hospital in Florida for 35 years in ICU for most of that time. She had attended the First Assembly of God Church in Steelville. Donna and Frank had been a member of the Elks Clubs in Florida. She always enjoyed volunteering for the Steelville Food Pantry when her health allowed.

She enjoyed music and loved to play the piano for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amerino and Leota Freda.

Donna will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years, Frank Valle;  one son, Michael Jonathan Valle of Steelville, MO; sister Margaret Buset of FL; nephew, Joey Amerino (Mari) Buset; brother-in-law, Joe Valle of Steelville, MO; other family members, Dami and Raquel Herrera; other relatives; and friends.

A  Memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the MO Veterans Cemetery with Bill Bennett officiating. Family members and friends shared special memories.  Inurnment was in the Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.

The Valle Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
