It is with great sadness the family announces that on Thursday, January 3, 2019, Anita Dawn Williams (nee Crews), wife, mother, daughter, and sister, of Rolla, Missouri passed away suddenly at the age of 42 years. Anita will be forever remembered by her husband John Williams and her precious children, Kyle and Brooke, (rescue “children”, Emma and Scout), parents Paula Crews (Chuck Knapp) of Vichy, MO and Tom Crews of Lansing, MI, and by her sister and brothers, Kay (Cody) Warrington, Tom Crews, and Ryan Crews. Anita will also be remembered and missed by her grandson, Silas Crews and niece and nephew, Krysten (Jake) Farmer and Dylan Brewington.
Anita will also be forever remembered by her extended family and her numerous friends as an avid KC Chiefs fan and as someone with a larger than life personality. Although her culinary skills will not be missed, her love of the party will be. She loved to be surrounded by her friends, family, and dogs and could make a party of almost any occasion.
On Sunday, January 6, 2019, we will say goodbye for now, until we meet again. The Family received friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A Celebration of Anita’s Life was held held at 3:00 p.m. at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Reflections and poems were shared by her children, Kyle Crews and Brooke Swallow. Special music of “Fast Car”, “Candle in the Wind”, “Time after Time” and “The Rose” was played.
The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.
The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral in Steelville, MO.
