Audrey Jeanine (Danner) Woods

Audrey Jeanine Woods, nee Danner, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in St. Louis at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 21 days. She was born March 21, 1939 in Fredrick, Illinois to Ronald and Julia, nee Oberc, Danner. On January 2nd of 1960, she was united in marriage to William "Willie" Woods in St. Louis and to this union two sons and two daughters were born.

Audrey was of the Catholic faith. She always enjoyed cooking for her family and taking camping trips. Her pride and joy were her family and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were at the top of the list.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie; one grandson, Noah Woods; one great-grandson, Nathan Drake Woods; and one brother-in-law, Lannie Helton.

She will be sadly missed by her family, two sons, Johnny "Joe" Woods of Union, MO and Jimmy Woods and wife Sarah of Steelville, MO; two daughters, Cynthia Lou Woods of St. Louis, MO and Sherry Lynn Miller and husband Robert of St. Louis, MO; nine grandchildren, Randy Woods, Samie Jo Pursley and husband Jim, Pamela Woods, Heather Marshall and husband Joe, Mindy Miller and fiance' Greg Venverloh, Tabitha Miller, Lindsie Schmidt and husband Eric, Ethan Woods and Tristan Woods; thirteen great-grandchildren, Savanna Hanna, Stormy Donioho, Gillian, Miley, Jesse James and William Robert Marshall, Samuel and Emery Rose Pursley, Mason Carey, Izadora, Charlotte and Skylar Rose Miller and Eleanor Grace Schmidt; three brothers, Ronald "Pinky" Danner and wife Barbara and Ted Danner and wife Karen all of IL and Larry Danner and wife Marie of CA; one sister, Juanita Helton-Leihenseder and husband Robert of IL; other relatives and friends.

A graveside inurnment service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Cherry Valley Cemetery, Steelville, MO with Paul Hutson officiating.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
