Beverly Marie (Wilkinson) Cotton

Beverly Marie Cotton, nee Wilkerson, of Cuba, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in St. Louis at the age of 67 years and 6 days. She was born May 29, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to Fred Wilkinson, Sr. and Wilma Minks Wilkinson. Beverly was united in marriage to George Cotton on February 13, 2004 in St. Louis.

She enjoyed watching old movies, working logic puzzles, reading and writing stories. Beverly will always be remembered having a wonderful sense of humor and being the life of the party.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Cotton; sister, Madeline Brandt; and brother-in-law, Everett Phipps.

She is survived by one son, Roger (Jennie) Boyd, Jr. of Lemay, MO; one daughter, Christie Blaise of St. Charles, MO; two grandchildren, Casandra Boyd and Aurora Blaise; one brother, Fred Wilkinson, Jr. of Cherryville, MO; one sister, Evelyn Phipps of Cherryville, MO; brother-in-law, Jeff Brandt of Lakeland, FL; other relatives; and friends.

The Family received friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Harrison Brown officiating. Special music of "The Holy Heals" and "Beulah Land" was sung by Bob and Carol Coleman accompanied on piano by Shirley Brown. Other music of "I can only Imagine" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Martin-Trask Cemetery in Cherryville, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Roger Boyd, CaSandra Boyd, Christie Blaise, Darrell Phipps, Everett Phipps, Jr. and Adam Phipps.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
