Clarinda Agness (Price) Biggs

Clarinda Agness Biggs, nee Price, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her home at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 12 days. She was born Monday, June 23, 1930 in St. Louis to Esli and Hala Price. In March of 1950, she was united in marriage to James Orin Biggs and to this union three daughters and one son were born.

Clarinda was employed for John Swift, a printing company, for forty years. She attended Victory Baptist Church in Cherryville. She always enjoyed crocheting and lovingly donated over 500 afghans which she made to cancer patients for use during their infusions.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orin Biggs; two great-grandchildren, Kadyn Clancy and Madilynn Kelley; son-in-law, C.W. Hart; one brother, Donald Price; sisters, Vernice Richardson and husband Bill and Diane Eaton and husband Norris; brother-in-law, Gail Biggs; two sisters-in-law, Lorene Butts and husband Vondel and infant Margerite Biggs.

She will be missed by her one son, Dennis Biggs and wife Pam of Ballwin, MO; three daughters, Brenda Koerner and husband Jeff of Loveland, OH, Beverly Kelley and husband Wane of Overland, MO and Donna Hart of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Delores Graham and husband Jim of Aurora, CO and Tresa Abney of Poplar Bluff, MO; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Biggs and wife Anna Mae of Overland, MO and Daniel Biggs and wife Carlena of Salem, MO; twelve grandchildren, Jesse (Emily) Biggs, Ashley (Shawn) Streeter, Justin (Jessie) Biggs, Jake Biggs, Beth Schmitt, Eric (Christine) Clancy, Jeremiah (Cherish) Kelley, Heather Kelley, Valerie Kelley, Dave Hart, Pat Hart and Jared (Erin) Hart; eleven great-grandchildren, Rhiannon Biggs, Orin Biggs, Keira Streeter, Rayden Streeter, Ethan Schmitt, Kalyn Clancy, Trinity Clancy, Eli Clancy, Alyson Kelley, Wyatt Kelley and Charlie Mae Hart; other relatives and friends.

The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Pastor Roger Silvey officiating. Special music of "The Lighthouse" and "Celebrate Home" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Stone Hill Cemetery, Salem, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Jeremiah Kelley, Justin Biggs, Jesse Biggs, Jake Biggs, Jared Hart and Ray Fahr.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
