Daisy Mae Lowe, nee Stockwell, of Viburnum, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in St. Louis at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 17 days. She was born August 23, 1937 in Kimmswick, Missouri to Thomas and Mary Josephine Stockwell. On February 12, 1972 in Potosi, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Bobbie Lowe and to his union three sons were born.
Daisy attended Viburnum Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles and playing Yahtzee. Throughout the years, she enjoyed traveling with her sisters. Most of all she loved spending time with all of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobbie Lowe; two brothers, Bud Stockwell and Lenny Stockwell; four sisters, Mary Weisenborn and husband Louie, Rose Cartee and husband Lawrence, Josephine Cartee and husband Jim and Ruth Rugh; and brother-in-law, Clyde Matlock.
Daisy is survived by her three sons, Paul Linderman and wife Tammy of Viburnum, MO, Gene Young and wife Tina of Big Timber, MT and David Linderman and wife Lisa of Cherryville, MO; one sister, Annie Matlock of Imperial, MO; sister-in-law, Marlyn Palmer of Imperial, MO; fourteen grandchildren, Melissa Lopez and husband Michael, Lynn Young, Amanda Botkin and husband Matt, Bryan Linderman and wife Tammy, Ashley Hampton and husband Kevin, Megan Young and husband Josh, Twyla Marti and husband Frank, Levi Martin, Makala Revelle and husband Dylan, Makanda Nelson and husband Taylor, David Linderman Jr., and wife Samantha, Heather Pilkington and husband Joseph, Matthew Robinson and Dylan Eason; twenty-seven great-grandchildren, Bryce, Miguel, Ethan, Dylan, Aaron, Noah, Wyatt, Alexis, Ryan, Jaden, Aleigha, Carmen, Braxton, Jaceton, Baylynn, Briley, Stetson, Trey, Adrianne, Jaxon, Tatum, Zachary, Wyatt, Tyrese, Ava, Asher and Elizabeth; other relatives and friends.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Viburnum Christian Church with Bro. Dustin Callahan and Pastor George Civey officiating. Special music of "Amazing Grace" was sung by Averie Wigger and "Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden" was played.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Thompson Cemetery on Neals Creek, Bixby, MO.
Honored to be casket bearers were Levi Martin, Raymond Matlock, Kevin Stockwell, Dylan Revelle, Monty Matlock, Brent Horton and Jeff Lowe.
