Daniel Robert Carbaugh

Daniel Robert Carbaugh of Steelville, Missouri passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 in St. Louis at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 15 days. He was born May 24, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Arthur and Mary Margaret Kern Lippert. Later on he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Curtis Carbaugh. On December 6, 1980 in Union, Missouri, Daniel was united in marriage to Connie Pyatt and to this union one son was born.

Daniel was employed in maintenance at different schools in the local area. He always enjoyed playing football during high school and watching it on tv along with baseball. Throughout the years, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister-in-law, Deborah Reiger.

He will be missed by his wife of almost thirty-nine years, Connie Carbaugh of Steelville, MO; one son, Daniel (Jennifer Borage, companion) Carbaugh of St. Louis; one brother, Rich (Cathy) Carbaugh of Granbury, TX; two sisters, Diana (Charlie) Brown and Julie Lippert all of St. Louis; sister-in-law, Kimberly Pyatt of Cuba, MO; many nieces, nephews; other relatives; and friends.

The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Darrell Nichols officiating. Special music of "One Day at a Time" and "Go Rest High" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Martin-Trask Cemetery, Cherryville, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Dan Carbaugh, Mike Kramer, Terry English, Calaeb Scott, Matt Knight, Danny Pyatt and Rick Runyon.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
