Darrell Lee Williamson of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of Freeman, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Steelville Senior Living. He was born January 27, 1933 in Seward, Nebraska to Manual "Bill" Williamson and Lucille Tomandl Williamson. Darrell honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance in Stillwell, KS retiring after thirty plus years. He was a member of the Freeman Presbyterian Church in Freeman, Missouri and attended Steelville Presbyterian Church after moving to Steelville. He enjoyed playing a good game of golf and spent many hours rebuilding old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Williamson; one brother, John Hubert Williamson; and infant sister, Linda A. Williamson.
He is survived by his two daughters, Linda "Willie" Bowness and husband Rob of Steelville, MO and Leslie Ann Jurgenson and husband Shane of Freeman, MO; four grandchildren, Jane Ann Bowness-Johannsen, Hallie Jean Bowness, Madison Raye Schilb and Charlee Schilb; friend, Tommy Bray; other relatives and friends.
He chose to be cremated. A private Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date.
