Darren Dwight Green of Desoto, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Crystal City, Missouri at the age of 52 years, 8 months and 28 days. He was born March 23, 1966 in St. Louis, MO to Herman Dwight Green and Diane Wymer Green. In September of 1994, he was united in marriage to Denise Burns.
Darren was a plumber for Aries Plumbing in St. Louis for several years. Darren’s happy place was spending time at the family property in Cherryville, hunting and being with his family. His grandchildren were his greatest joy.
Darren recently made a profession of faith and was baptized by Rev. David Scott.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Green and step-father, Jack Morhaus.
Darren will be remembered by his wife of twenty-four years, Denise Green of Desoto, MO; one son, Shawn (Kirsten) Green of Arnold, MO; his mother, Diane Morhaus of Mehlville, MO; one brother, David (Jennifer) Green of Fenton, MO; two stepbrothers, Thomas (Tina) Morhaus of Creve Coeur, MO and Daniel (Sherry) Morhaus of Glen Carbon, IL; one granddaughter, Kinsley Green; and three grandsons, Huntter Green, Mason Green and Mason Harris; nephews, Grant Green and Ryan Green of High Ridge, MO; Uncle Dean (Georgia) Wymer of Steelville, MO and Uncle Donnie Green of Cherryville, MO; special friends, Ken Lawson of Warsaw, MO and Loyd (Jackie) Ware of Cherryville, MO; other relatives; and many friends.
The Family received friends from 12:00 Noon until service time on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of “Outskirts of Heaven”, “ When I Get to where I am Going”, “That’s My Job”, “It is well with my Soul” and I can Only Imagine was played. Memories were shared by friend, Jackie Ware.
The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.
The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
