Don Edward Turnbough

Don Edward Turnbough of Steelville, Missouri passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 in Herculaneum, Missouri at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 9 days. He was born September 6, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to William "Bill" Turnbough, Sr. and Kaye E. Turnbough, nee Lindsey.

Don was employed for several years as a mechanic. The last few years, he took care of the property maintenance at the Ozark Trail Blazers arena. In his spare time, he enjoyed repairing vehicles, car racing and riding horses. For the last several years, Don was a faithful caregiver for his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Turnbough, Sr.; one daughter, Brandy Marie Turnbough; and one brother, William "Bill" Turnbough, Jr.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Kaye Turnbough of Steelville, MO; one son, Jacob Turnbough of Steelville, MO; one brother, John Turnbough of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Susan Bogert and husband Charles of Cedar Hill, MO and Sandy Orr and husband Mike of Cherryville, MO; other relatives and friends.

The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Doug Windle officiating. Special music of "Enjoy the Ride", "In God's Eyes" and "Tell it to Jesus" was played. Memories were shared by Don's sister, Susan Bogert.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Cherryville First Baptist Church Cemetery, Steelville, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Allen Carrow, Chuck Bogert, Billy Turnbough, Jim Barrett, Carl Davis and Dan Campbell.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
