Doris Ann Green (Lea) Wilkinson

Doris Ann Green Wilkinson of Sullivan, Missouri, formerly of Davisville, Missouri passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 in St. Louis at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 27 days. She was born June 24, 1944 in Rolla, Missouri to Lloyd Lea and Helen Francis Gray Lea. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Green who passed away in 2003 and later married Kenneth Wilkinson who passed away in 2014.

She attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church for several years. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, camping and playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth Green and later her husband Kenneth Wilkinson; one sister, Judy Lea; brothers-in-law; John (Shirley) Green, Paul Smith, Leroy Tidwell,  Glen Martin, Clyde (Pat) Wilkinson, Tim (Rilma) Wilkinson, and Plas (Jean) Wilkinson, Rance Medlock, Noah Pyatt and Lloyd Hunter; and sister-in-law, Mary Green.

Doris is survived by her one son, Bobbie Green of Sullivan, MO; two daughters, Carol (Jerry) Stanislaus of Leasburg, MO and Mary Lynn Carrick of Cuba, MO; two brothers, Eugene (Paula) Lea and Dennis (Linda) Lea all of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Barbara (Jr.) Parker and Brenda (Tom) Murray all of Steelville, MO; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe (Glenda) Green and Jim Green all of Davisville, MO, Harold (Linda) Green of Cherryville, MO, Curt Green of St. Louis, MO, Oma Smith, Marie Martin and Barb (Fred) Mertz all of Cherryville, MO, Leon Wilkinson of Cuba, MO, Freda Hunter of St. Peters, MO, Juanita Pyatt and Lois Medlock of Davisville, MO;other relatives and friends.

The Family received friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Bro. Harrison Brown officiating. Special music of "The Dance" was played. Other music of a medley of songs and "Go Rest High" was sung and played by Bob and Carol Coleman.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Freeman Cemetery, Cherryville, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Mike Murray, James Stricklin, Scotty Stricklin, Brian Murray, Bret Brown and Luke Carrick.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
