Joseph Crocker, 45, of Czar Tower died Monday, June 25, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. Joe was born November 12, 1961 in Bismarck, Missouri, the son of Robert Lee and Jessie Lee (Hedgcoth) Crocker.
Joe is survived by his mother Jessie Crocker of Czar Tower; special friend, Dee Cooper; one son, Dominic "Nick" Dwayne Heckman and wife Futher of Enid, Oklahoma; five brothers, James Robert Crocker of Cuba, David Crocker and Rebecca of Steelville, Orville Crocker of Czar Tower, Steven Crocker and wife Sharon of Czar Tower and Russell Crocker and wife Valerie of Rolla; three sisters, Goldie Marie Parrett and husband Roger of Steelville, Jane Harmon and husband Don of Steelville, and Deloris Stricklin and husband Jessie Jr. of Cherryville; one granddaughter, Hope Heckman and three step-grandchildren Zachary, Avery, and Uriya.
Joe will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Joe Crocker were held Friday, June 29, 2007 in the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, with Rev. Harrison Brown officiating. Special music of "Amazing Grace" and "An Unclouded Day" were sung by Bob and Carol Coleman. Serving as casket bearers were Chris Skaggs, Jordan Crocker, Don Harmon, Don Hedgcoth, Rick Fox, and Tyler Hutchens with committal prayers and burial in the Sam Crocker Cemetery in Goodland, Missouri.
The family was served by Britton-Bennett funeral Home of Steelville, Missouri.
