Joyce Mauvine (Campbell) Davis

Joyce Mauvine Davis, nee Campbell, of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Bristol, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 23 days. She was born July 15, 1932 in Bristol, Tennessee to Ira and Laura Hicks Campbell. In 1952, she was united in marriage to Charles Eugene Davis and to this union three sons and two daughters were born.

Joyce was a member of the Riverbend Baptist Church in Bristol, TN. She always loved to sew, crochet and could grow most anything in her beautiful garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Davis; three brothers, Harold Campbell, Lawsey Campbell and Ernest Campbell; and one sister, Polly McReynolds.

Joyce is survived by her three sons, Rick (Brenda) Davis of Norlina, NC, Robert Davis of Romana, KS and Timothy (Terry) Davis of Bristol, TN; two daughters, Linda (Tim) Shasserre of Steelville, MO and Judy Booher of Romana, KS; one brother, Yantzel Campbell of Kennett Square, PA; three sisters, Barbara Paisley of Mountain City, TN, Ruth Little and Nellie (Ken) Emerson all of Kennett Square, PA; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Weaver Funeral Home in Bristol, TN. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
