Laura Jeannette (Bridges) Browning

Laura Jeannette Browning of St. Charles, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in her home at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 3 days. She was born October 24, 1968 in Mesa, Arizona to Lester Bridges, Jr. and Thelma Brooks Bridges. She was united in marriage to Sterling Browning III on September 27, 2014 in St. James, Missouri.

Laura was of the Baptist faith. She was a Hair Stylist and manager of the Regis Hair Salon. Laura loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Thelma Bridges; and one brother, Carl Bell.

Laura will be sadly missed by her husband, Sterling Browning III of St. Charles, MO; three sons, Victer Horton and wife Grace and Shawn Horton all of Steelville, MO and Logan Browning of Hillsboro, MO; one daughter, Natalie Browning of St. Louis, MO; special niece, Maggie Lemons of Cuba, MO; two brothers, Lester Bridges III and Lloyd Bridges of Cherryville, MO; four sisters, Gail Lederle and Lorette and husband Joe Lemons of Cuba, MO, Dale Burrow and husband Bob of Cherryville, MO and Wanda Bell of Salem, MO; mother-in-law, Merlene Browning of Springfield, MO; brother-in-law, Brian Browning and wife Lindsey of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Melissa Sauder and husband Eric of Springfield, MO;  grandchildren, Carlisle Horton of Salem, MO, Gabriella Porter of Steelville, MO, Alesia Reeb of Salem, MO and Miguel Horton of Steelville, MO; other relatives and friends.

The Family received friends from 1:00 until service time on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 on on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Pastor Ed Morgan officiating. Special music of "Another One Bites the Dust", "Dancing in the Sky", "Jesus Take the Wheel", "Old Rugged Cross", "Follow Me" and "Go Rest High" was played.

Inurnment will be in the Davisville Cemetery.
