Laura Frances Poeschel, 80, of Bourbon, MO passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 at her home. She was born February 28, 1931 in Knox City, MO to Emmet N. Poole and Ora Lee Elkins Poole. She was united in marriage to Raymond Francis Poeschel who preceded her in death in 2006.
Laura was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed nature and was a bird watcher. Most of all she loved her children and all of her family.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Poeschel and wife Carol of Fulton, MO and Rocky Poeschel of Bourbon, MO; three daughters, Corky Poeschel of Bourbon, MO, Donna Elkins and husband Curly of St. Peters, MO and Linda Jo Poeschel of Iowa; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; one son, Dennis Poeschel; and one brother, Clay Poole.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 in the Fairview Cemetery at Bourbon, MO.
The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
