Lisa Margaretha Schulte of Steelville, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her home at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 1 day. She was born July 27, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri to John Nathaniel Rawie and Margaret Schatz Rawie. Lisa was united in marriage to Kurt Schulte on July 26, 1986 in St. Louis and to this union two sons and two daughters were born.
Lisa had been employed as Food Director of the Crawford County R-2 Schools. She was of the Catholic faith. She and Kurt were members of the Missouri Anglers Association. Lisa loved to read, loved animals and loved her children and was waiting to be a grandmother in the late fall of this year.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one nephew, Nickalas Schulte.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of thirty-one years, Kurt Schulte of Steelville, MO; two sons, Logan Schulte and wife Courtney and Eric Schulte all of Duncan, OK; two daughters, Jodi Rimes and husband Dustin of Cuba, MO and Alexus Schulte of Point Lookout, MO; one sister, Sandie Wirthlin and husband Ken of St. Louis, MO; one nephew, Michael; two nieces, Amy and Nicky; other relatives and friends.
The Family received friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Deacon Earl Horsefield officiating. Music of "Ava Maria" and "Amazing Grace" was played. Memories were shared by husband, Kurt Schulte and Lee Toth.
