Norman "Norm" Dale LaRose, Jr.

Norman "Norm" Dale LaRose, Jr. of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of Torrance, California, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 in Rolla, Missouri. He was born October 5, 1950 in San Fernando, California  to Norman LaRose Sr. and Edna Kroeker LaRose. Norm was united in marriage to Paula Stauffer.

Norm worked as an electronics repairman for many years. In 2009, he moved to Steelville to be near his only sibling. Norm was a very talented artist in his early years. He loved to paint and work with computer art. He loved music and wrote many songs throughout the years and played many kinds of instruments. Norm was also avid photographer. One other enjoyment he had was surfing. From his youth until in his 50's, he always loved the freedom of surfing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Yvonne "Evie" LaRose of Steelville, MO; and friends.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Steelville First Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Farr officiating. Special music of “In the Garden” was sung by Hal Rhea and other music of “Above All” was played on piano by Connie Rhea.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
