Ruby Helen (Sutton) Graham

Ruby Helen Graham of Steelville, MO passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Phelps County Regional Hospital in Rolla at the age of 74 years. She was born August 23, 1937 in Ironton, MO to William Sutton and Stella Harbinson Sutton. She was united in marriage to James Thomas Graham who preceded her in death in 1987.

Ruby was of the Christian faith. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, gardening and raising flowers.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Charlene Barnicle of Cuba, MO; two brothers Sylvester "Ed" Stricklin of Cuba, MO and Tom Sutton and wife Kathy of New Jersey; one sister Sue Helmering of Cuba, MO; two grandchildren Jason Bishop of Steelville, MO and Rusty Bishop and wife Carrie of Cuba, MO; four great-grandchildren Ashley and Sara Bishop and R.J. and Elaina Bishop Burris; nieces, nephews; other relatives and family friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother-in-law Larry Helmering.

The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Memories were shared by grandson, Rusty Bishop. Special music of "When I Get Where i am Going", "Go Rest High" and "Lead Me Home" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the New Martin Cemetery in Steelville, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Jason Bishop, Rusty Bishop, Danny Graham, Allen Helmering, David Helmering and Earl Barnicle.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
