Cheryl Anne Harris of St. James, formerly of Steelville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 56 years. On March 3, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri she was born to James Harris and Shirley Midyette Harris. She was united in marriage to Tom Reed and to this union one daughter was born. She loved lying by the pool, swimming, floating, the sun, watching tv, shopping and going out to eat, family vacations and most of all her family. She loved and cherished the time with her daughter Tera, Jeff and Sassy.  Cheryl attended the Living Word Church of Leasburg. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Tera Reed and fiance'Robert "Bear" Bass of Leasburg, MO; her life partner of fifteen years, Jeff Swyers of St. James, MO and his son, Josh Swyers; her father, James Harris of St. James, MO; one brother, Larry Harris and wife Kimm of Troy, MO; and one sister Norma Walsh of Troy, MO; one niece, Angie Harris; and three nephews, Mat Walsh, Bryan Walsh and wife Kara and Jamie Harris; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Harris; brother, Scott Harris; and brother-in-law, Harvey Walsh. The Family received friends from 5:oo p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Pastor Jim Delacourt and Pastor Dan Morrison officiating. Special music of "Tuesday's Gone", "Because You Loved Me" and "Amazing Grace" was played.  A poem was shared by Anita Brooks. Committal prayer and burial were in the Steelville Cemetery. Honored to be casket bearers were BryanWalsh, Mat Walsh, Josh Swyers, Bob Kuhlenberg, Gary Peth and Robert"Bear" Bass. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO
