Doris Jean Andrews, nee Setzer of Cuba, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 76 years. Doris was born January 17, 1938 in Shoal Creek, Missouri to Ray Otto Setzer and Freida Marie Stotler Setzer. She was united in marriage August 20, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Marvin Eugene Andrews who preceded her in death in 2005.

Doris worked for Monsanto over thirty years and retired at that time. She and her husband loved to travel and she participated in bowling leagues in St. Louis. She also enjoyed fishing.

Doris will be sadly missed by her brother, Ray Setzer and wife Melba of Portland, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  her brother, Charles Setzer; and her sister Alvina Penny and husband Bud.

The Family received friends on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating.  Special music of "God Bless America"  and "Amazing Grace was sung by Rev. Jerry Beers and Brad Bouse. Other music of "Go Rest High" was sung by Rev. Jerry Beers. Special memories were shared by members of the family.

Inurnment will be in the Steelville Cemetery at a later date.
