Eric Wade DeClue, age 46 years, 7 months and 21 days, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 in Crawford County, Missouri. He was born January 8, 1978 in Potosi, MO to William "Bill" DeClue, Sr. and Joyce Coffman DeClue.

Eric graduated from Steelville High School. He loved to spend time with his son along with fishing and deer hunting.

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" DeClue, Sr.; wife, Brandy Blaser DeClue and sister, Tracy Ann DeClue.

He is survived by his son, Eric DeClue II of Steelville, MO; mother, Joyce DeClue of Steelville, MO; two brothers, William "Bill" DeClue, Jr. of Catawissa, MO and David DeClue of Hartville, MO; Uncles and Aunts, John Coffman of Meadowbrook, MO, Janice Ashbridge of Belgrade, MO, Jim (Nadine) Coffman of Cadet, MO, Maggie (Barto) Daniels of Jacksonville, FL, Billy (Melody) Coffman of Bismarck, MO Bobby (Sherry) Coffman of St. James, MO, Bob (Georgia Ann) DeClue of DeSoto, MO, Jim DeClue and Judy Owens both of Potosi, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; and friends

The Family received friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 with David DeClue officiating. Special music of "Brotherly Love", "Huntin', Fishin', "Lovin' Everyday", "Feed Jake", "Seven Spanish Angels", "That's My Job", "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye", "Go Rest High", "Ain't No Grave", "Chasing Rebels" and "In the Garden" was played.

Committal prayer and scripture by Billy Coffman and interment were in the Steelville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
