She was born March 16, 1934 in Eminence, Missouri to Azro Bryant and Julie Callahan Bryant. At a very young age, Flo's father passed away and her mother later married Fielden Pyatt who helped raise her also as his daughter. On September 1, 1951 in Davisville, Missouri, Flo was united in marriage to Robert Cecil Martin who preceded her in death in 2007.

Flo will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Bobby Martin and wife Vicky of Cherryville, MO; two grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Brown of Cuba, MO and Cody Martin and wife Lauren of Cherryville, MO; one son in-law, Dwight Brown and wife Betty of Cherryville, MO; two brothers in-law, Albert Martin and wife Lorene of Steelville, MO and Henry Martin and wife Bonnie of Davisville, MO; three sisters in-law, Betty Martin, Roberta White and Mabel White all of Steelville, MO; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Fae Brown; sister in-law, Anna May White; and brother in-law, Jim Martin.

Flo attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and always loved to sing in the trio. She loved people and always enjoyed visiting and entertaining. She was always on the go when her health permitted and loved to shop so she became  a "collector" of many things. During the 1960's, she and Cecil co-owned the Ozark Cafe in Steelville with his brother and wife, Jim and Betty Martin. Her family will always remember the great fried chicken that she served. For several years, she and Cecil made and painted ceramics together. Most of all she loved her family and being with them.
