Judy Diane Green of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Davisville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 65 years. She was born September 1, 1950 in Hoxie, AR to Thomas Mobley and Opal Brooks Benson. In 1984 she was united in marriage to Walter Cordell Green who preceded her in death. Judy was employed as a dietary manager for twenty years at Gibbs Care. She was a member of the Missouri Dietary Manager's Association and the Red Hat Society. Judy enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She loved the outdoors spending her extra time camping and gardening. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Donna Benedict and Angela Racer and husband Jeff all of St. Louis, MO and Erica Wohldmann of Venice Beach, CA; two sisters, Linda Puckett and husband Glenn and Anita Adams and husband Larry of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Jacob Huber, Lauren Holmes, Erica Holmes, Katelyn and Patrick Benedict; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Cordell Green. The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m. On Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Shelter in the Arms of God" was sung by Bob and Carol Coleman. Other music played was "So Far Away" and "Go Rest High." Memories were shared by daughters, Angela Racer and Erica Wohldmann. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Davisville Cemetery.
