Michael Patrick Gamble of Cherryville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 21 days.

Michael was born March 17, 1961 in St. Louis, MO to Floyd Gamble and Lola Lawson Gamble.

He graduated from Hillsboro High School. Michael was employed as a general laborer around the area and the state.

Michael loved animals especially dogs and when he was younger, he always helped with the family's horses in local horse shows. He also loved to fish in the lakes and rivers and especially catfishing. Michael enjoyed deer hunting along with camping and sitting around the camp fire and in days gone by, he spent time coon hunting.

Michael always loved talking to people and met no strangers. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Lola Gamble; brother, Ronald Gamble; sister, Debbie Day; brother-in-law, Tom Day; and nephew, Shane Gamble.

He is survived by his brothers, Wayne (Judy) Gamble of Flemington, MO and Mark Gamble of Preston, MO; sister, Rhonda Day of Cherryville, MO; brother-in-law, Greg Day of Weaubleau, MO; niece, Jamie Reeves; nephew, Sean Gamble; great nephews and nieces; other relatives; and many friends.

The family chose cremation as his final disposition. There will no service at this time.
