Norman Anthony Goudeau of Steelville, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 in his home at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 21 days. He was born January 17, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to Curtis Goudeau and Mary Okertich Goudeau. Norman was united in marriage to Francoise Marot and to this union two children were born.

Norman graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis. After high school, he served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 and was a member of the American Legion. Norman had been in the Crawford County area since the 1970's. He was employed by Sentry Insurance working in insurance sales in Rolla and the Washington area for several years. In later years, he was a volunteer as an election official. Norman was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mary Goudeau; and brother-in-law, Elmer Foerstel.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Michael) Goudeau-Willson of St. Mary's, GA; one son, Kirk Norman Goudeau of Steelville, MO; four siblings, Phyllis Foerstel of St. Louis, MO, Dale (Kathy) Reifschneider of Pevely, MO, Mary (Jim) Colter of Tallahassee, FL and Kim Witten; four grandchildren, Trenton, Katelyn, Michael and Francisa; beloved close friend, Agnes` Stafford of Steelville, MO; other relatives; and friends.

Norman chose body donation to Washington University, St. Louis, MO.
