Richard Leslie Dulany, 47, of Farmington, MO, formerly of Steelville, MO passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. He was born May 7, 1962 in Springfield, Missouri to Ray Dulany and Melba May (Winder) Dulany. Richard had worked many years in the restaurant business. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and especially his family. He will be sadly missed by his fiance' Gaye Bellew of Fredericktown, MO; two sons, Ben Dulany and David Dulany (fiance' Ashley) all of Farmington, MO; one brother, Michael Dulany and wife Delori of Cheney, Kansas; four half-sisters, Pat Valenti of Arnold, MO, Donna Watson of St. Louis, Carol Hart and husband Glen of Anchorage, AK and Judy Tauchen and husband Henry of Englewood, Co; and his fiance's son, Jacob Bellew; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and half-brother, James Perkins. Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Special music of "Live Like You Were Dying" and "Only You Can Love This Way" was played. Other music of "Go Rest High" was sang and played by Rev. Jerry Beers. Committal prayer and burial were in the Steelville Cemetery. Honored to be casket bearers were Ben Dulany, David Dulany, Zac Taylor, Trey Defato, Jacob Bellew and Preston Cook. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the America Cancer Society.
