Robin Jean Green, 51, of Cherryville, MO passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Gibbs Care Center. She was born February 10, 1960 in Steelville, MO to Corbett Green and Betty Smith Green. Robin attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and she enjoyed attending the Mid American Mountain Rendezvous meetings. She was preceded in death by her father, Corbett Green; and one grandson, Corey Robert Green. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Betty Green of Davisville, MO; one son, Corey Green of Cherryville, MO; one daughter, Tonya Lee Mason of Cherryville, MO; four brothers, Ronnie Green and Roger Green and wife Patricia all of Cherryville, MO, Allen Green and wife Lisa of Sligo, MO and Michael Green and wife Karen of Caledonia, MO; two sisters, Tammy McCartney and husband Pat of House Springs, MO and LaDonna Alvey and husband Chester of Steelville, MO; three grandchildren, Christopher Michael Green, Aerieonna S. LaRue and Adrian Shane LaRue; other relatives and friends. The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Bob Coleman and Pastor Harrison Brown officiating. Special music of "Hello Central, Give me Heaven" and "I'll Fly Away" was sung by Rev. Bob Coleman, Carol Coleman and Bonnie Martin accompanied on piano by Shirley Brown. Other music of "Angels among Us' was also played. Committal prayer and burial were in the Gregory Cemetery at Cherryville, MO. Special music of "Will the Circle be Unbroken" was sung by Rev. Bob and Carol Coleman. Honored to be casket bearers were Jason Green, Wesley Green, Robert Smith, Mike Hicks, Patrick McCartney and Sean McCartney. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
