Roy Dean Harmon of Steelville, Missouri passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Phelps County Hospital in Rolla, MO at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 27 days. Roy Dean was born April 8, 1952 in Steelville, MO to Roy Edward Harmon and Ruth Francis Dicus Harmon.

Many years ago he attended church with his family at Coffee Church. He always enjoyed watching television.

Roy Dean is survived by his father, Roy Harmon of Steelville, MO; four brothers and one sister, Calvin Emory Harmon and wife Gloria Jean of Steelville, MO, Paul Harmon and wife Sue of Steelville, MO, Janis Cox of Steelville, MO, Larry Harmon and wife Misty of Cherryville, MO, John Ransom and wife Laurie of Steelville, MO; cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Wilbur Ransom and one infant sister, Brenda Sue.

The Family received friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral  Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Go Rest High" and "Old Rugged Cross" was played and sang by Bob and Carol Coleman. Other music of Cherokee "Amazing Grace" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Keysville Cemetery at Keysville, MO.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
