Virginia Lois Conaway, 52, of Pevely, MO passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 in St. Louis, MO. She was born July 23, 1958 in Steelville, MO to the late Floyd Bradford Coplin and Pearl Beers Coplin. Virginia grew up in the Shoal Creek Area and graduated from Viburnum High School. She attended the Lookout Assembly of God Church in Davisville for many years. She enjoyed fishing and watching the "Cooking Channel", "Nancy Grace" and "The Young and Restless." She loved the companionship of taking care of her dog, "Smoky." She will be sadly missed by her one son, Chris Conaway and fiance Courtney of St. Clair, MO; special niece, Nicole Coplin of Pevely, MO; five brothers, Lonnie Coplin and companion of Steelville, MO, Herbert Coplin and wife Dodie of Pevely, MO, Homer Coplin of Gorham, ME, Larry Coplin and wife Darlene of Farmington, MO and Lester Coplin and wife Jean Ann of Valley Mines, MO; three sisters, Janet Coplin of Pevely, MO, Irma Jones and Lora Eaton and husband John all of Steelville, MO; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Mae Coplin; and brother Donald Coplin Sr. and wife Betty. Memorial service was held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Lookout Assembly of God Church in Davisville, MO. with Rev. Ronnie Chandler officiating. Inurnment was in the Skaggs Cemetery at Shoal Creek, MO. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
