Andrew "Jack" Adams

Andrew “Jack” Adams of Steelville, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Phelps Health in Rolla at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 12 days. Jack was born August 30, 1943 in Butts, Missouri to Robert “Bob” and Lottie May Isgriggs Adams.

Jack was united in marriage to Edna Mae Huffman on April 13, 1963 in Steelville and to this union one son and two daughters were born.

Jack grew up at Butts and in a few years he and his family moved into Steelville. He graduated from Steelville High School. He was employed for 30 years, retiring from Chrysler in 1998. In earlier years, he always enjoyed taking his family camping, working in the yard and playing Bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lottie Adams; his wife, Edna Adams; his two brothers, Clarence Ray and Bill (Geneva) Adams; two sisters, Ruth Newman and Mildred (Harold) Greenwalt; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Huffman.

Jack is survived by one son, Steve (Lisa) Adams of Steelville, MO; two daughters, Cinda (Vince) Magnoli of Hull, MA and Shawna Holle of St. James, MO; seven grandchildren, Emily (Mark) Pheiffer, Kaitlin (Lucas) Harmon, Abigail (Michael) Mitchell, Brooklyn Adams, Nick Magnoli, Anthony (Kate) Magnoli and Aubrey Holle; eight great-grand-children, Ila and Abram Pfeiffer, Adalayde and Millie Mitchell, Liam, Noah and Owen Magnoli and Lucy Harmon; brother-in-law, Richard (Carolyn) Huffman of Rolla, MO; other relatives; and friends.

The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.

A Private Family inurnment will be in the Freeman Cemetery, Cherryville, MO.

The Adams Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
