He was born January 9, 1965 in Rolla, MO to Danny and Katherine (Henson) Earney. He was united in marriage to LaDonna Nipper in Belgrade, MO on September 28th, 2002.

Billy graduated from the Steelville Class of 1983. After graduation, he was employed as a machinist for a few years and in 1990 began working at Perkins Cattle Farms as the Farm Manager.

Billy was a believer of God and on occasion would attend the Belgrade Methodist Church with LaDonna. Billy had many joys in life. He was a collector of antique tractors with his father. He was an avid antique pursuer for skillets, granite wear, buckets, and tools. His other hobbies included woodworking, hunting, fishing, and planting his garden. Two of his greatest joys were his first car, a 1970 Monte Carlo and a restored 72 Chevy pickup. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Marion “Bill” and Minnielee Earney; maternal grandparents Warren and Virgie Marie Henson; mother-in-law Margaret Nipper, brother-in-law Dennis Nipper, sister-in-law Diane Nipper, and dog, Zip.

He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife of almost eighteen years, LaDonna Earney of Steelville, MO; his parents, Danny and Katherine Earney of Steelville, MO; three children, Sara (Mike) Zacher of Cuba, MO, Casi (Colin) Cottrell, and Michael (Alisha) Earney all of Steelville, MO; two step-children, Amanda (Adam) Pogue of Mineral Point, MO and Trevor (fiancé Aaron) Mitchell of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren, Brody, Logan, Lexi, Wyatt, Cameron, Elaina, Ashton, and Cullen; three step-grandchildren, Hannah, Chase, and Brayden; his special dog, Moonshine; other relatives; and many friends.

He is survived by father-in-law Clyde Nipper of Belgrade, MO; brother-in-law Ron Nipper of Bosie, ID; sisters-in law Debbe (Chris) Free, Deer Park, TX; Barbara (Derrick) Coleman of Caledonia, MO; Kathy (Brian) Pashia of Potosi, MO; and Sandy (Dan) Brown of DeSoto, MO.
