Clifford Todd Obituary

Clifford Todd of Steelville, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 7 days in his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 24, 1939 in Howes Mill, Missouri to James and Wilma Turnbough Todd. On July 15, 1961, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Hedrick in Salem, Missouri and to this union four children were born.

Clifford was employed at Huzzah Fish Hatchery, Brown Shoe Company for thirty years and Industrial Wire. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and getting out on the farm. Most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, James and Wilma Todd; his wife, Norma Jean Todd; son, Louie Wayne Todd; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Hedrick.

He will be sadly missed by his son, Larry (Shirley) Todd of Davisville, MO; two daughters, Bonnie (Glenwood) Turnbough and Barbara (significant other, Dwain Moses) Todd all of Steelville, MO; three grandchildren, Jimmy Todd, Cody Turnbough and Crystal Wiget; two step-grandchildren, David (Jenna) Carter of Cook Station, MO and Joshua (Alicia) Herndon; two great-grandchildren, Kady and Kyle Todd; nine step-great-grandchildren, Callie, Jarrett, Logan, Avery, Eli, Zoey, Isiac, McKenzie and Ethan; one sister, Ruby Hedrick of Bixby, MO; other relatives; and friends.

The Family received friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Mo with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Special music of "I Can Only Imagine", "I'll fly Away" and "Amazing Grace, My chains are Gone" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Boss Cemetery, Boss, Missouri.

Honored to be casket bearers were Cody Turnbough, Jimmy Todd, Larry Todd, Dwain Moses, David Carter and Crystal Wiget with Kyle Todd and Kady Todd as honorary.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
