Dewayne Wilson Hardin of Steelville, Missouri passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 in St. Louis at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 20 days.
He was united in marriage to Barbra Whitman on November 15, 2002 at Coffee Community Church in Steelville.
Dewayne was of the Baptist faith. He dearly loved the outdoors whether floating, camping, hiking or hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Louise Hardin; two brothers, Don Streiler and Jimmy Hardin; and two sisters, Robin Warren and Sue McCall.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Barbra Hardin of Steelville, MO; three daughters, Alyssa Hardin of Steelville, MO, Alina (Ryan) Robinson of Cuba, MO and Kim (Rick) Fisher of FL; one brother, Danny (Susie) Hardin of Holden, MO; one sister, Tina (Eva Moore) Schindler of Steelville, MO; and three grandchildren, Carter Robinson, Collin Anton and Emma Fisher; other relatives; and many friends.
The Family received friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Special music of "I Can Only Imagine" and "Scars in Heaven" was played and "While He was on the Cross, I was On His Mind" was sung and played on guitar by Darla Vance.
The service was Live-streamed on the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home Facebook Page.
