Elaine Marilyn (Hall) Karlberg

Elaine Marilyn Karlberg, nee Hall, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan at the age of 79 years and 8 days. She was born February 11, 1943 in Ross, California to Elroy and Bertha Keppel Hall. In September of 1964, she was united in marriage to Bertil Karlberg.  After many years of living in California, she and her husband moved to Steelville in 1994.

Elaine enjoyed working at Stanley’s Garden Center in St. James for twenty-five years. She and Bertil enjoyed gardening together along with traveling. Elaine had a passion for collecting and searching for certain glassware throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Elroy and Bertha Hall; and one brother-in-law, Bruce Karlberg.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Karlberg of Winters, CA; three grandchildren; a cousin, Ed Keppel of Reno, NV; special friends, Connie McPherson of Cuba, MO and Melanie Hopkins of St. James, MO; and other friends.

Elaine chose cremation as the final disposition. A private inurnment will be at the Dillon Cemetery, St. James, MO.

The Karlberg Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
