Ella Julia (Rogers) Davis

Ella Julia Davis, nee Rogers, of St. Genevieve, MO, formerly of Steelville, MO, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in St. Genevieve at the age of 84 years and 6 months. Ella was born July 28, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to Cleon and Ella (Phillips) Rogers. She was united in marriage to James Ross Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Davis; two brothers, Robert and Cleon Rogers; three sisters, Ruth McFarland, Louise Combs and her twin, Elsie Smith.

Ella is survived by her sister, Dorothy Karuse of Fordland, MO; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Ella's wish was to have her body donated to science at the Washington University School of Medicine.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
