Imogene Wynn, nee Shockley, age 91 years, 9 months and 30 days, of Cordova, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
She was born on January 31, 1933 in Cuba, MO and graduated in 1950 from Cuba High School. She retired after working as the Marketing Director for several retirement communities. Mrs. Wynn was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church, Bellview, TN, where the late Rev. Adrian Rogers was her pastor for many years. She loved baking, walking her poodle, Bible study, Sunday school and being a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe J. Wynn; parents, Earl and Nellie Shockley; sister, Geneva Vonderschmidt; brothers, Glen, Roy and Chester Shockley.
Mrs. Wynn is survived by her daughter, Tanya Wynn of Buford, GA; son, Joe Wynn, Jr. of Eads, TN; daughter-in-law, Angie Wynn of Arlington, TN; grandchildren, Nicole Shockley Wynn, Joe James Wynn, Tyler Ellison Wynn, Dylan Wynn, McKenna Paige Wynn.
A Graveside Service with inurnment was held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in the Steelville Cemetery at 10:30 A.M. with Dr. Rick Haggett officiating. Special music of “In the Garden”, “It is Well with My Soul” and “Come Jesus Come" was sung and played by Rev. Jerry Beers.
The Wynn Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
