James R. Tucker, 73, of Steelville, MO, formerly of St. Louis and Colorado, died peacefully at home, Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Mr. Tucker was a registered professional civil engineer (P.E). He spent his career working for McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, EDS, GDS Corporation and WSP (formerly Parsons Brinckerhoff).
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Geri (Eaton) Tucker and his parents-in-law, Francis “Scotty” and Catherine Scott.
James loved being outdoors whether boating or riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed traveling and visiting the National Parks. Most of all he loved his family. All will miss his wicked sense of humor and love of adventure.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Tucker, nee Scott, of Steelville, MO; children, Laura (John) Kane, Stephanie (Matthew) Tucker, Katie (Matt) Barrows and Kristy (Omar) Cisneros; grandchildren, Russell, Samantha, Jonathan, Lilly, Emily and George; a sister, Marcia Holeman and a brother Chris (Holly) Tucker.
A Celebration of Life will take place later this year.
James chose cremation as the final disposition.
