Jimalee Deann McPherson of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Cuba Manor at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 27 days. She was born May 28, 1969 in Cuba, Missouri to Dail and Nina Conaway McPherson.
Jimalee attended State School #61 in Salem graduating from there. She was handicapped throughout her life, but she enjoyed school, playing games, being outdoors and being around all the animals growing up on her family’s farm in Cherryville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dail and Nina McPherson.
Jimalee is survived by her brother, Matt (Billie) McPherson of Steelville, MO; niece and nephew, Madalyn McPherson of Steelville, MO and Josh (Amber) Whitman of Cuba, MO; one great-niece and great-nephew, Clara Marie and Samuel James Whitman.
The Family received friends for a combination Memorial visitation for Jimalee and Nina from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 6:15 p.m. with Rodger Quertermous officiating. Special music of "In the Sweet Bye and Bye", "If We Ever Meet Again" and "On Eagles Wings" was played by Nancy Quertermous on piano.
The Family chose cremation as their final disposition.
