John Kozlowski of Daingerfield, Texas passed away on Monday morning, January 10, 2022 at his residence at the age of 103. He was born on December 27, 1918 in McKees Rock, PA to Ignatius and Blanch Kozloski.. Mr. Kozlowski proudly served his country with the US ARMY in World War II. He worked many years as a supervisor at a correctional facility, was a 50 year Mason with Herman Lodge No. 123, was a member of the Shriners and Scottish Rite and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Daingerfield.
A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great-grandfather, Mr. Kozlowski was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Hazel Kozlowski; sons, Barry Kerby, Everette "Dude" Kerby, brothers; daughters & sons-in-law, Renee Cote & Al of Knob Noster, MO, Aleta Harper & Bill of Daingerfield; sons & daughters-in-law, Jerel Kerby & Zully of Avinger, Jesse Kerby & Evelyn of Dickson, TN, Vernon Kerby & Janet of Arlington, John Kozlowski & Erica of Malibu, CA; 27 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; as well as brother & sister-in-law, Norman Kozlowski & Jeannie of Pittsburg, PA.
Funeral services for John Kozlowski, 103, of Daingerfield were held at 2 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Daingerfield, TX with Bro. Doye Wilbanks officiating under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield.
Graveside services with Military Honors by the U.S. Army was held at 2 PM Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Czar Cemetery, Steelville, MO. Memories were shared by his children.
