Jordan Rick Turner, age 28 years, 1 month and 7 days, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in St. Louis. He was born April 19, 1993 in Farmington, Missouri to Rick Turner and Shari Bays Halbert.
At a young age of 7, Jordan would race go-karts and at age 11, he loved mud trucks. Jordan graduated from Steelville High School in 2011. His passion was working on cars. During his teen years, he would buy and repair cars along with reselling them. Jordan was a professional when it came to working on vehicles and electronics.
He was loved by so many. Jordan had a smile that would light up a room and had a great personality as well. He loved all of his family and friends. Jordan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lumes and Marie Turner; maternal grandfather, Lovel Bays; aunts Patty Baird and Mae Janus; uncle Marvin McDonald; cousin, Matt Lee; step-grandfather, Lawrence Midyett; and many friends.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Shari (Myron) Halbert of Steelville, MO; his father, Rick (Tina) Turner of Bixby, MO; two sisters, Megan Turner and Shannon (Casey) Werley all of Bixby, MO; maternal grandmother, Carol Bays Midyett of Steelville, MO and step-grandparents, Dan and Ruth Ann Halbert of Steelville, MO; step-brother, C.J. Barton of KY; step-sister, Monica Barton of Salem, MO; aunts, Vickie (Calvin) Pryor of Bixby, MO, Karen (Tracy Willhite) of Dillard, MO, Sandy Painter of St. Louis, MO, Faye Clements of Rolla, MO, Jean McDonald of Jadwin, MO, Brenda Sue (Lenley) Schofield of Salem, MO; uncle, Jim (Courtney) Bays of High Ridge, MO; nieces and nephews; Khloe, Grace, Journey, Nirvana, Raven, Mikinleigh, Cason and Dawson; other relatives; and many friends.
The Family received friends on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
Funeral services will held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Special music of "See You on the Other Side", "I Will Remember You" and "Go Rest High" was played. A poem that was written by his sister, Megan, was shared by her.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery, Viburnum, MO.
Honored to be casket bearers were Casey Werley, C.J. Barton, Cody Bays, Jack Bays, Blake Jimmerson and Corey Willhite.
