Kimberlee G. Dunn

Kimberlee G. Dunn of Cuba, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 17 days. She was born August 5, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Burrel and Lorene Willhite Dunn.

Kimberlee graduated from Southeast Missouri State with a BA degree. She was a teacher in the Cuba Public School for over 30 years, retiring in 2010.

She always enjoyed shopping in resale shops, being with her friends, spending time on her computer and watching tv. Kim also spent most of her adult life rescuing dogs and giving them a home.  They were very important to her and great companions, especially in retirement. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burrel and Lorene Willhite Dunn.

She is survived by her four brothers, Lawrence (Becky) Dunn of St. Paul, MO, Randall Dunn of Washington, MO, Richard (Connie) Dunn of Springfield, MO, Daniel (Elaine) Dunn of Fenton, MO. and one sister, Robyn Dunn of Washington, MO; cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

The Family received friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held immediately following at 12:00 noon with Rev. Mike Hill officiating. Special music of "I've got a Mansion", "Love lifted Me", "What A Friends we have in Jesus", "In the Garden", "When we all get to Heaven", "Just a Closer walk with Thee"' and "Amazing Grace" was sung and played on the piano by Dawn Girard.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Sellers Cemetery, Dillard, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Larry Dunn, Rick Dunn, Randal Dunn, Danny Dunn, Nicholas Dunn, Craig Dunn and Nathan Dunn.

The Dunn Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
