Larry James Brinkman, Sr., of Cuba, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 in his home at the age of 72 years. He was born August 12, 1948 in St. Louis to Lawrence Eugene Brinkman and Esther Loraine Sellers Brinkman. Larry was united in marriage to Carolyn Paxton Weiss in 2006.
Larry was an insurance broker since 1971. He was active in Jaycees for several years, enjoyed going to the Three Rivers Camping Club, camping, playing golf, playing poker and loved the time he spent in genealogy research.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Esther Brinkman.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Brinkman of Cuba, MO; six children, Larry J. Brinkman, Jr., Sara Marie Brinkman, Amy Suzanne Bernard, Kristin Ann Brinkman, Jason William Brinkman and Jennifer Sue Brinkman; two step-children, Misty Park and Jeffrey Weiss; two brothers, Michael and Ronald Brinkman; five grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.
The Brinkman Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
