Larry Kenneth Kelley of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 in his home at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 23 days. He was born December 27, 1964 in Ironton, Missouri to Wilma Maxwell. He was united in marriage to Gail Zielinski on December 26, 2004 in Lemay, Missouri.
Larry was employed at National Rent to Own in St. Louis and after he and his wife Gail moved to Crawford County in 2013, he became employed at McGinnis Wood Products.
Larry loved his dogs and considered them all his “puppies”, no matter what age they were. He enjoyed spending time doing his yard work and just being outdoors. He loved to hunt deer and rabbits and spend time fishing. Larry enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, but he especially loved country music. He also loved tinkering with old cars and enjoyed driving his "Willy" jeep. He was known as a very “kind person” to all and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Lisa Longton; and his sister, Missy Adams.
He is survived by his wife of almost 17 years, Gail Kelley of Cherryville, MO; his mother, Wilma (Larry) Deane of Washington, MO; step-son, Brian Parrish of Cedar Hill, MO; two brothers, Michael Warren and Patrick Warren; 10 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; other relatives; and friends.
The Family received friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Take my hand, Precious Lord" and "Peace in the Valley" was played.
Cremation will follow as the final disposition after the funeral services.
