Leo "Tony" Anthony Bruno

Leo “Tony” Anthony Bruno of Steelville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026  at Steelville Senior Living at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 4 days. Tony was born March 20, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Tony Anthony Bruno and Geraldine Overall Bruno.

Tony grew up in St. Louis where he attended high school.

Tony enjoyed playing music on his guitar from the spaghetti westerns which emerged in the mid 1960’s. He liked watching the actors Lee Van Clef and Clint Eastwood from those years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Geraldine Bruno; brothers, John Bruno and Dennis Bruno; and sister, Janis Wiley.

He is survived by his brother, Joe (Machelle) Bruno of Cherryville, MO; and sisters, Sue Ahlheim of Farmington, MO and Lynn (Todd) Phillips of O’Fallon, MO.

The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Delhi Baptist Church, 3170 State Hwy. UU, Cuba, MO.

The Bruno Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
