Lynnette "Lynn" Renee Young

Lynnette “Lynn” Renee Young entered Heaven on January 8th, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 38.

She was born November 17, 1982, in Farmington Missouri to Gene Young and Carla Young (Sellers).

Lynn was the youngest of two children and known by many names, such as “our sweet little baby Lynn” by her Grandma Friedrich (up to the age of 12), “Sis”, and  “my Lynnie Poo Poo” by her Aunt Tina (just last month).

Lynn’s loving mercy to help others began in high school where she completed her CNA certification. It continued when she was selected into the RN nursing school program immediately following her high school graduation.

Lynn’s dedication to the health care field was wide-serving. From attending as an EMT in the back of an ambulance, working in the ER and ICU units, to stopping to calm a small child who had been pushed down. Her loving compassion was felt by all who knew her.

Lynn was preceded in death by her best friend, Grandma Sue (Sellers), as well as PawPaw Lonnie (Sellers), Grandparents Bob and Daisy Lowe, Great Aunts, Uncles, and Cousin Mandi.

She is survived by her parents Carla and Bren Sellers and Gene and Tina Young; her sister Missy Lopez; brother-in-law Michael; nephews Bryce, Miguel, and Ethan; honorary parents Randy and Tina Parks; loving Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, family, friends, and Lynn’s fur baby “Sadie.”

A memorial visitation was held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 20,  2021, at the Britton Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville Missouri. 

 A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 pm with Anita Maize officiating and Ron Brodwater sharing prayers. Memories were shared by members of the family and friends. Special music of “Hero”, “Jealous of the Angels” and “I Lived” was played. The service was Live-streamed on the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home Facebook page.

Lynn’s family would like to recognize her very special friends, Raul, Mark Anthony, Angel, Cammie, Robin, Dr. K and so many others who meant so much to her.
