Margaret Lorene (Payne) Beezley

Margaret Lorene Beezley, nee Payne, of Ballwin, Missouri, formerly of Steelville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 in Valley Park, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 16 days. She was born March 11, 1938 in Steelville, Missouri to Alfred Bryan Payne and Rebecca Baker Payne. She graduated from Steelville High School in 1956.

Margaret was united in marriage to Rufus K. Beezley at St. Louis in 1959 and to this union one son and one daughter were born.

She was employed at Crown Cork Seal Bottlers in St. Louis retiring after 40 plus years. Margaret was of the Catholic faith. She always enjoyed gardening as long as her health permitted and loved seeing her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus K. Beezley; her son, Scott Beezley; two brothers, Jerald Payne and Victor Payne; three sisters, Lois Terry, Iva Clark and Donna Cunningham.

She will be missed by her daughter, Kelly (Steve) Henroid of Ballwin, MO; one brother, Jean (Jeanetta) Payne of Bourbon, MO; and four beautiful grandchildren, Madeline, Mallorie, Haley and Hanna.

Graveside Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November, 11, 2023 at the Steelville Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Special memories were shared by friends.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Steelville Cemetery.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
