Mary Frances Coleman, nee Farmer, of Cherryville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 14 days. She was born June 7, 1937 in St. Louis to Benjamin H. Farmer and Mabel L. Watson Farmer. Mary was united in marriage on April 21, 1958 in St. Louis to Billy Joe Coleman.
While living in St. Louis, Mary was employed as a nursery school aide at Gateway Temple Christian School. After moving to Steelville she became a nursing assistant to Dr. Baumann where she was blessed to be able to minister in her own way to the many patients who walked through the door and retiring after eighteen years. She was a faithful member of the Center Ridge Pentecostal Church. Mary enjoyed reading, watching the birds, drawing and artwork, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and singing. Most of all she loved being around her big family, her church family and many friends giving away her well known hugs.
