Mary Frances (Howdeshell) Lefler

Mary Frances Lefler, nee Howdeshell, of Overland, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 17 days.

She was born December 24, 1933 to Eldon and Rose Parrett Howdeshell.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Lefler; dear mother and mother-in-law of Terry (Deborah) Lefler of Overland, MO; loving grandmother of Adam (Olive) Lefler and Diana (Nestor) Lopez and great-grandmother of Dominic and Logan Lopez and Luke Lefler; dear sister of Anna Mae (late Kenneth "Bud") Biggs, Mildred (late Paul) Conaway, Juanita (late Don) Crabtree and the late Daphna (Versel) Callahan, Ruth (Bob) Ogle and Elbert (Myrna) Parrett, Treff (Vivian) Hogan, Kenny (Almeda) Howdeshell, Noel (Helen) Howdeshell, Dwight (Margaret) Howdeshell and infant James Howdeshell; dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Visitation was held at the Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Rd., Overland, MO 63114 on Sunday, December 15 from 1-5 p.m.

Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 17 at 1 p.m. at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home with Pastor Jerome Gennaria officiating. The eulogy was read by grandchildren, Adam Lefler and Diana Lopez. Special music of "Amazing Grace", "How Great Thou Art" and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" was played.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Freeman Cemetery in Cherryville, MO.

Honored to be casket bearers were Adam Lefler, Frank Lefler, David Biggs, Dewayne Biggs, Michael Conaway and Nestor Lopez with honorary, Dominic Lopez, Logan Lopez, Luke Lefler, Sharon Wise, Rhonda Hill, Nancy Crabtree, Constance Crabtree, Ron Howdeshell and Dennis Ogle and all nieces and nephews who were precious to her.
