Michael "Mike" Dewayne McMullin

Michael “Mike” Dewayne McMullin of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 65 years, 10 months and 3 days. He was born June 18, 1956 in Tipton, Indiana to Joseph Eddie McMullin and Lenora May Riebeling McMullin.

Mike was employed at Quest Diagnostic in St. Louis for several years and recently retired in 2021.

He enjoyed hunting, whether it was deer, turkey or mushrooms, with his grandsons and best friend, Roger. He loved family cookouts and especially fish frys. Mike also loved finding and collecting four leaf clovers for his granddaughter. He always loved having his beloved dogs around to keep him company. Mike also enjoyed hanging out with his buddy, Roger Green, and giving him a hard time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph McMullin; and Lenora and Antone Painter.

He will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Amanda Kelly of Park Hills, MO and Victoria Lynn Kesler of Lake St. Louis, MO; one brother, Butch McMullin of Park Hills, MO; three sisters, Sharon (Larry) Hackworth of Leadwood, MO, Sandra McMullin and Linda (Phil) Nash; five grandchildren, Gage Michael Ridlon, Carter Scott (Meghan) Ridlon, Patrick Michael Kesler II, Blake Leighton Kelly and Hailey May Kesler; two great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Spencer Edward Dwayne Ridlon; other relatives; and friends.

The Family received friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

A Celebration of Life was held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Drink a Beer", "The Other Side" and "Amazing Grace" was played.

The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.

The McMullin Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
