Nedra Jane (Brown) Dunn

Nedra Jane Dunn, nee Brown, of Black, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Stonecrest Health Care in Viburnum, Missouri at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 5 days. She was born January 31, 1958 in Steelville to Howard and Virginia Green Brown.

She was united in marriage to Billy Elwood Dunn on May 21, 1977 in Eminence, MO.

Nedra had been a member of the Davisville Community Church and continued to have a strong faith in the Lord to the very end.

She was a very gifted and artistic person who loved to decorate her home inside and outside. Nedra was passionate about her home and decorating. She made every detail tell a story.

Nedra also loved to hunt and trap along with riding the roads and hunting squirrels. She did “everything” with her partner of twenty-one years, Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Virgina Brown; and husband, Billy Dunn.

She will be lovingly missed by her partner, Wayne Henson of Black, MO; close friends, Vaughn “Sprout” and Shanda Martin of Black, MO; special cousins, Carol (Bob) Coleman of Cherryville, MO and Paula Oneail; other relatives; and friends.

Private Graveside Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Davisville Cemetery, Davisville, MO with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Amazing Grace" and "I Don't Need to Understand" was sung and played by Bob and Carol Coleman.

Interment was in the Davisville Cemetery, Davisville, MO.

The Dunn Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
